Colorado Springs · 24/7 Emergency Response
Restoration, Rebuilt Right the First Time
When it's water, fire, mold, storm, or biohazard damage, one crew handles the mitigation and the rebuild, so nothing gets lost between contractors. Locally owned. Available around the clock.
What We Handle
Restoration and Rebuild, Under One Roof

One Crew, Start to Finish
Mitigation and Reconstruction, Under One Roof
Most restoration companies stop at mitigation and hand the rebuild off to a separate general contractor. Mountain West doesn't. The owner's background is construction, so the same crew that dries out a flooded basement on Monday can be framing, drywalling, and painting it a few weeks later.

Our Process
How We Dry It Right
Most restoration companies do the minimum IICRC S500 requires and call it done. We built ours to go further, so nothing gets missed and nothing moves to rebuild until it's actually ready.
Assess the Water
Identify the water category and start tracking moisture levels with meters before any work begins.
Map the Damage
Check drywall, flooring, baseboards, and insulation to see exactly how far the water traveled.
Control the Environment
Bring humidity and temperature into a safe range right away, so damage doesn't spread while the rest of the work gets underway.
Test for Asbestos
Sample any materials that might contain it. Nothing gets torn out until results come back clear.
Protect the Space
Lay down floor protection, seal off the work area, and run negative air machines before demolition starts.
Remove and Disinfect
Take out anything that can't be saved, then disinfect the structure underneath.
Mark the Framing
Set moisture points in the studs so we can track exactly how dry the structure is, day by day.
Bring in the Equipment
Air movers, dehumidifiers, and specialty drying tools go in, sized to the space.
Track It Daily
Check moisture levels every day and adjust the equipment as the numbers change.
Confirm It's Dry
Nothing moves to rebuild until the structure actually hits IICRC drying standards, not just "looks dry."
