That leaves homeowners hiring a second contractor, waiting through a second timeline, and dealing with a whole new round of surprises.

With a background in construction, the goal here is simple: one crew that can dry out a flooded basement on Monday and have it framed, drywalled, and painted a few weeks later, no handoff in between.
